Resetting clears your saved choice — the consent banner will offer it again on your next visit to another page. Switching from accepted to declined stops this site from sending any further analytics events immediately. It cannot remove analytics scripts already loaded earlier in this same page visit, and we cannot delete anonymous events already sent to Vercel from this browser — a full page reload guarantees a clean state going forward.
Contact form data
When you submit the contact form, we receive whatever you choose to enter: your full name, email address, and project description are required. Phone number, service needed, reference links, and how you heard about us are all optional.
Why the data is processed
We use what you submit to respond to your inquiry, evaluate whether your project is a good fit, and send you an automatic confirmation email that we received your message.
Email providers
Resend sends the automated emails generated by the contact form (the business notification and your confirmation). contact@madebyelement.com, the business inbox those notifications arrive at, is hosted by IONOS — a human reads and replies from there, not through Resend. We haven't independently verified either provider's exact data residency or retention periods, so we don't make specific claims about either here beyond what's described on this page.
Analytics
This site can use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, both privacy-focused, cookie-free page-view/performance tools — but only after you accept analytics using the banner or the controls above. Nothing from either is sent before that. Neither ever receives contact form contents, and neither is used for advertising or building a profile of you across other sites.
Functional storage
A few small, non-analytics values are stored in your browser so the site behaves correctly: whether you've already seen the opening animation this browsing session, whether you've already seen the mobile swipe-discovery hint on the project video feed this session, and your analytics choice itself (so we don't ask again every visit). None of these require consent — they don't track you across sites and carry no personal data.
Withdrawing or changing consent
Use the controls above at any time to accept, decline, or reset your analytics choice — this is the same choice offered in the banner on your first visit.
